BTW, Red River Polar Matte is getting a dmax of 1.7 with QTR and Eboni v.1.1 with the 3880. It's hitting 1.68 with ABW and that combo. So, with today's Eboni, it's doing very well in the dmax department.

Thanks
These prints are made on Polar Matte (not a great paper for DMax) but the greyscale is OK. There's flaking from time to time.I'll use my old retouch brush (0000) and I'll try the "toothpick" method for sure. Thanks again.JacquesJacques CaronLe 2015-08-02 à 10:45, "Paul Roark roark.paul@... I'm printing with an EB6 configuration; even if I brush my paper before printing, sometimes I get some sort of flaking. Very small white spots appear. Since I'm not coating the print, can I retouch the old way with the inks?
Thanks
