Re: [Digital BW] emptying 1430

2015-07-07 by Jacques Caron

Thanks Paul!

Found it very odd too! Since this 1430 never leaked (nor the cartridges) I was a bit puzzled by this "empty cartridge" problem.

I refilled the two offending cartridges; I printed about 5 11x19 prints; I'll leave the printer "On" as usual and see tomorrow morning what is the level of the two cartridges.

I recall having the black cartridge leaking a bit one time but afterward, everything went back to normal.

I cleaned the "pads" as per video instructions from Inkjet Mall; I saw that the pad underneath the print head array was full of ink but never thought that it would be from emptying cartridges?!?

I'll see tomorrow

Thanks again
Jacques Caron

When I have the reservoie plugs out for filling a couple of my carts will leak badly unless I have the outlets plugged with one of the metal plugs MIS at least used to have/sell.
