Digital BW, The Print

I don't really know completely what effect this has, but I turn off my Status Monitor and just top-off my cartridges without removing them and don't seem to have a problem with letting the printer sit for weeks at a time.  Occasionally I need to run three cleaning cycles if the test pattern shows any gaps.  And sometimes even if the test pattern shows a few gaps, the printer frequently still prints fine. Go figure!
