I have a related question, hope I'm not hijacking the thread. I too have a Nikon LS2000 which has been cleaned and adjusted, works fine. However I'm using a ten year old PC, with a SCSI adapter card (Adaptec AHA-2940). I'm running XP Pro. I'm due for a new PC and I hope I can run Windows 7 on it, having heard bad reports on Windows 8. Will I be able to use my LS2000? Sounds like it might be doable. Thanks all! Paul
