Hello, I have an old but functioning Nikon LS2000 35-mm film scanner. This is a SCSI scanner, but I use it on my Firewire-equipped iMac with an old Ratoc SCSI-to-Firewire adapter. Here's my question: I need to buy a new iMac. Has anyone gotten a SCSI scanner like this to work on a modern iMac via Thunderbolt? EG, can I plug this Ratoc adapter into Apple's Firewire-to-Thunderbolt adapter? In other words, daisy-chaining two adapters -- SCSI-to-Firewire, then Firewire-to-Thunderbolt. I realize this is a long-shot question. And I hope it's not inappropriate in this forum. Many thanks in advance for any advice.
