The Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl Paper that was also given to you could be the older version. Right now the Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl 11 280 gsm is distributed which should be an improvement on the old version. The OBAs are contained within the paper base between the polyethylene barriers. That would reduce oxidation of the OBA dyes. Last week I returned to that paper for the same reason you sketched. Ilford announced new changes for its range of papers and I have to check at the Photokina next week what that means for the Pearl 11. -- Met vriendelijke groet, Ernst Dinkla Grafische Techniek Quad, pi\ufffdzografie, gicl\ufffde www.pigment-print.com
