Digital BW, The Print

Two more books to consider are:

 

B&W Printing by George DeWolfe.

This book talks about printing B&W and what it takes to make a great print.
Some of it was rather Zennish and went over my head. I thought reading it
helped  a lot.

 

Creative Black & White by Harold Davis

This is a more technical book and I am glad I bought it.

Any strong feelings on what to buy? I'm a bw film photographer scanning to
bw tiffs and printing through LR and PS via my Epson 4880. Not a beginner,
I've been photographing for many years; I've been in a few shows already,
and I have no interest in making this into a business.
