Each frame has to be positioned for the scan, no film strip 
transport.available. No auto focus either.
There is a positive report on the Luminous Landscape site and ColorFoto 
sees much improvement since the the 7200 model but I dare say that it is 
more the absence of competition than its own qualities that gives it 
that publicity.

There must be a niche market for one 35mm scanner model that has the 
qualities of the last Nikon-Minolta models. The Nikon 9000 MF scanner is 
too expensive for that market, the Epson V700-V750 doesn't have the 
resolution for 35mm film.
