I almost never use the web/email/etc. when someone asks to see my work - not that I'm asked all that often. A monitor just doesn't do justice to the depth and range of tones (color & especially B&W) - not to mention that everything I do is geared toward the print as my final aim. I think I may have seemed a snob to a few, but a monitor just can't do justice when presenting a well executed print. A color photo can appear much more brilliant/saturated & look great, but I always look to the print as the final medium of my presentation. Maybe I'm old fashioned or overly picky (or maybe I am just a snob), but just as a recording isn't the same a a symphony or a photo/4-color reproduction not the same as an original painting, a print is the only way to see a photo as it should be seen. Unless, of course, one's medium is the monitor. Then such a viewing is appropriate. My 2 cents (nothing more.) Jon B
