When I go out on a shoot, people look at the back of the camera and nod, then lean over my shoulder in the evening, and say "oh, that's a good one" and I say "we'll see" and I delete half the images, and edit the best ones in Lightroom, then import the very best into Photoshop, and soft proof to a few media and tweak some more and people say "that's perfect" and I reply "maybe", and at the end of the trip they claim it was a huge success, and I remind them that we haven't made a single print yet: It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.
