Owner / Moderator?

Hi folks,
Very sorry for any confusion about this issue, but I never have been 
contacted to be a moderator or owner of this group, nor have I ever 
been asked to be one.  Apparently somebody decided to assign me as 
one without asking for permission to do so. How nice of someone to do 
that without asking.

If somebody wants to tell me what I need to do to clear up the issue, 
I'd be more than happy to do so.  

I certainly had no idea whatsoever that I had been made a moderator 
of the group.

Hi Rolf!

Thank you for stopping by! As a quick recap, the original founder(s) and
moderator(s) of this group disappeared and there is no way for the active
members to maintain this group.

If you could assign a moderator and/or ownership over to one of the more
active members (liberatusvirus/oldguydrummer/jade.. I dunno, heck maybe
even me!) we'd be happy to take on the moderation responsibilities! :)

Hurrah! We have a live moderator! I guess the first thing is for us all to
pick a small handful of people we want to be our fearless leaders... Shall
we start a nomination process? :)

Rolf,

I suspected as much, but it sure is good to hear from you. What we 
need you to do is assign a few current members to serve as moderators 
so that we can maintain the site's assets and delete unwanted 
spam/porn that has been inundating us lately. I don't wish to speak 
for anyone else, but since the positon is largely janitorial and 
maybe gate keeping, I'll volunteer to be one, and I can canvass the 
group to find out who else should be one instead or in addition.
