New User.....In the midst of a session....need your help!!!!

2003-06-16 by dtx2member

Hello all,

First off, I am so glad to see that there is a user group for this
kit. I personally love this kit....

Anyway, I'm actually in the midst of a recording session and (like
everyone else) I'm having problems getting the DTXII brain to
playback what was recorded in Protools. I have read that a factory
reset cures the problem, but I can not afford to lose the custom
kits that I have created. Any suggestions? Thank you guys in
advance for your input and feedback...

BTW...I have some really great kits that I would love to share with
everyone else...once I figure out how to do so ;-) LOL

Greetings and welcome,

The PC software, DTXchange, will store your kits on your computer
while you do the factory reset. Go to
http://www.thehearns.fsnet.co.uk/dtxpressions/ to download it, and
then follow the simple instructions there about how to implement it.
Once you've put in on your hard drive, you can exchange kits with
other members of the forum or simply create an inventory of your own
kits that you don't want on your module for some reason. Good to
have you with us.

Just FYI:

Giles Hearns told me when he sent me his cool site to host that he will
no longer will be supporting the URL you show there and he couldn't even
say if it would continue to exist. For future utilities/dloads etc, go
here:

Thanks, Vern. You know you're getting a little long in the tooth
when you start giving out web addresses that are no longer current,
though luckily I think the Hearns' page is still up. I guess this
means that my short-term memory is on the way out.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
