Yeah, my DTX(DS12) hasn't arrived yet. I ordered it three weeks ago, but still waiting for it. What do you think of the DTX2U module?? Better than DTXPU? Opinions about everything conserning to DTX2U.. Jarmo

This might be of interest as you DTXpress guys start adding dual zone pads to your kits. Any help would be great. Here¹s a dual zone pad question I¹ve encountered trying to edit preset kit 59 on the DTXv2. Toms 1 to 3 have the identical rim voice (side stick). Tom 4 rim has a china voice. When I change the voice on tom 3 rim to cowbell, tom rims 1 and 2 automatically become cowbells toono more side sticknot what I want. Tom 4 is still china. Did someone at Yamaha "link" pads 1 to 3 in a "set one, set em all" deal? How do you break the link? ========================================================================= pete Hot Java, Cool Tunes: Visit Café Pierre www.geocities.com/SoHo/Cafe/4024/

make sure the rim midi note is different for each rim. if the midi note is the same, pads will appear to be linked. pdk wrote:

Ken, Bullseye. Thanks a million. God knows how many years of manual searching you saved me. Love that Internet. Go Panthers (Lightning?). ========================================================================= pete Hot Java, Cool Tunes: Visit Café Pierre www.geocities.com/SoHo/Cafe/4024/
