Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I'm using my dtxpressII module only for connecting pad inputs.I am
midied to my Kurzweil 2000 ext sequencer in order to use the real drum
sounds from the stereo drums cd-rom put out by Sweetwater and for
recording/playback into it. I can't figure out how to switch the midi
channel of the DTxpress module from channel 10 to channel 1.
I want to be on channel 1 instead of 10 to coincide with track 1 on my
sequencer. It would just make things a little more orderly for me.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you're connecting pads and running through a kit to MIDI out, you 
can change the transmit channel of individual pads on the "Channel, 
Gate Time" page in the Voice Menu. Does that help?
