A couple of questions for a future buyer

A couple of questions for a future buyer

2003-01-26 by Brett <baaron_123@yahoo.com>

It's tax season, and that means a decent refund...time to have fun
and buy my beloved DTXpress 2! I have a very simple question
hopefully someone can answer. When creating a new kit to store in
the module memory, what kind of inner battery likfe does the thing
have? I'd hate to spend time finding the perfect set-up, only to
have it wiped away when the unit gets unpugged. I'm sure this has
probably been covered before, but I'm a newbie to playing e-drums
(acoustic for 15 years). Thanks ahead of time for the help!

Hi Brett,

Welcome to the fold. User kits are stored in permanent memory unless
you change them. The module has a nonrechargeable internal back-up
battery that protects the data when the power is off. It appears to
have a pretty long life. I haven't heard of anyone yet finding
the "battery low" warning on their screens.
