Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

can someone please post a video to youtube describing  step by step directions very simple: what buttons to push on brain, how to use the software to add sounds and midi  what kind of file extensions do they have to be can you use .wav or .mid I am a very very beginner to midi even though I am a computer technician but don`t know what software to use or how to use the software please show a couple of different easy software programs.I have the original dtxpress with a midi to usb  cable  I find the dtxpress manual very confusing   please contact me at byteotech@...  or jmstn1@...  please post and send me the link when finished thank you Jay

I am not aware of any DTXpress instructional videos on youtube but you could try searching. The manuals aren't great but you will have to persevere, and ask questions here.

You cannot add sounds to the DTXpress module. You can use MIDI to trigger any sound you like on your computer. The sound will then come from the computer not the DTXpress module.
