Sorry to but my nose in... I really have limited experience with the midi side of programs like Cubase/Sonar but I imagine the best thing to do is talk about which programs you both use... it is possible that you guys could just swap the whole project... even if someone use sonar and the other Cubase you can still export and it will keep track info and timing all together. Maybe someone could chime in if they new more about sync'ing the two up in a different way. But in reallity it shouldn't be too hard to "bump"/"Push" his midi tracks one way or another... the audio *SHOULD* play at the same speed no matter which computer the wave is played on (just make sure you guys play to a click track and stick to it ;), then it would just be a matter of the start points maybe needing to be tweaked.
