I like my Sennheiser HD 280 Pros, although I confess to a certain amount of brand loyalty, and I can see how the curly phone-type cord could be a nuisance, depending on how you're hooked up. My egg-shaped head has no trouble with tightness, but someone (Stewart, I think) told me about that issue. Ed
