I am still looking for the perfect headphones, but I have tried the HD280 pro and while they sound good, they have high clamping pressure and that damn curly cord is a real pain in the **** so I sent them back. I am currently trying to find out if the Audio Technica M40FS, AKG 271 or AKG K55 (recommended by someone here when I searched the archive) are suitable. I fancied the Beyer DT770 until I found out they had curly cords as well (and the latest versions are not closed). I anyone has any suggestions I would also appreciate them - where I live it is impossible to find any to try so I have to use mail order and hope. Keith.
