In this case, however, their refusal to show the DTXpress IIISP, which is much more interesting than the standard version of the kit, should make them liable to some kind of punishment. Unfortunately, in the face of the Roland juggernaut, Yamaha may need GC more than GC needs Yamaha, if only so far as e-drums are concerned. The upside about complaints from people who already paid for the kit on the web and have to wait is that maybe the situation with Yamaha electronic drums will eventually change for the better. Cold comfort, I realize. Early adopters always seem to get screwed in one way or another, despite good intentions. But I put my money on Yamaha's management; they have always been honest and accessible. Ed
