Have you tried the DT10/20 pad-type settings in the trigger mode and trigger setup, and have you flipped the DIP switches on the back of the module to the high positions (use a pen or pin; they're tiny). We don't know anything about how the DTXtreme IIS module will respond to particular pads at this point, though chances are that it will be more versatile than the DTXpress II. I'd try new triggers and exhaust setting possiblilities in the module that you have now before I went out and spent 1,000 on a new module that might not solve your problem any better--unless, of course, you'd just like to have a better module in principle.
