They are deeply, deeply gorgeous, it is true. In my "fantasy budget" 
moments, I think a Visual kit would be my top choice. Some of the 
more "acoustic style" kits don't do it for me as they only go for 
single sized shells - it looks like a kit made exclusively of snare 
drums. Look at RET for an example of this. The individual drums are 
beautiful, but the overall effect for me is more jarring than a kit 
made up of rubber pads. If you're going to go for an 
acoustic "visual" style, the Pintech Visuals are top banana in my 
book. But the math... oh, my word. My ideal kit - a seven-piece, 
with secondary "piccolo" snare is in fantasy mathematics territory 
for me.
