First thing to look at : make sure all the MIDI functions are correctly setup (there's a few tips on the website http://www.welcome.to/DTXpressions). Then use a MIDI analyser to check the MIDI messages coming down the wire. There's one in the files section of the DTXpress e-Group Just load it up and monitor the MIDI input port. When you hit the kick you should see a MIDI Note On message appear. If not (esp. if other pads work), then check the MIDI note number in the DTXpress. Also check the MIDI leads. Try another set if you have to. If all this is correct and there's just no MIDI coming from the kick, then you could have a problem. Back to the dealer! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Messenger - Talk while you surf! It's FREE. http://im.yahoo.com/
