Had Yamaha come to market at Summer NAMM with a replacement high-end module with more bells and whistle, some (many) Roland owners would have jump ship and got on the Yamaha band wagon. Clearly sampling, more realistic hi-hat, greater storage capacity and better computer interface built-into a module is long overdue.
