Lets hope they get their problems worked out soon so we can see what this new system will bring us. I have never understood the reason that Roland products are pushed in music stores and Yamahas are thrown to the side, I am sure its money related whether in profit margins that the store makes or maybe its some kind of salesmen incentive that Roland offers to the stores sales force. Either way Yamaha needs to figure a way to correct this. Yes a good user base is essential in the continued success of these drums as I mentioned before when I first bought these and looked around the net for information and all I could really find was VDRUMS and DDRUMS sites It made me wonder if I had made the right decision in buying Yamaha, seeing all the user support for those systems made me feel like I was on my own with the DTX until I found these groups. Good to hear the VDRUM users have become more tolerant of Yamaha users since we all really have the same goals in mind, it makes sense to help each other out.
