Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Guys and gals,

I'm thinking seriously of exercising this function to ask the silent 
members to tell us their level of interest so that we can get some 
indication of how strong we really are. The email will go to 
everyone, not just the silent people, so it will be a bit redundant. 
I guess the replies will go directly to me, unless I request that 
they be posts to the site, which would be a bit of an imposition to 
those who prefer to remain in the shadows. Feedback?

The email obviously won't go to those who opted not to receive any 
emails of any kind. We'll have to post the message on the site proper 
for them. I suggest that this message also encourage those who just 
browse to join us. Sometimes the act of joining alone will be enough 
to get someone who might not otherwise participate to take the 
plunge. But, of course, members don't have to post if they don't want 
to, though it's awfully rewarding.
