Hi Frank,

Welcome, welcome, 1000 times welcome. We kids on this board are very
familiar with e-drum mania. When I first got mine, no one saw me for
days. Your son will recover from it, but you'll have to remind him to
eat and drink for a while. As Zilla said, the archive functions as a
FAQ, but you can ask us anything at any time. Usually during the day
and into the night, answers come pretty quickly. If they don't come
immediately, they will eventually. But don't hesitate to remind us if
necessary.

I am not familiar with the Roland RMP-1, though I am familiar with
just about all of Roland's current line. I'll check on it for you.
But if it has a 1/4" output, chances are it will work with the
DTXpress module. The only problem that Rolands sometimes have when
connected to Yamaha electronics is a weak signal, but it's not always
the case. You cannot harm either the pad or the module by giving it a
try.

No matter what changes occur at the site, you will not be locked out
of your current membership (unless you start spamming us). Again,
welcome. Use the resources mercilessly. In the meantime, I'll try to
locate some information about the RMP-1, unless someone here beats me
to it.
