To plow back through the archives, all you have to do is type the keyword(s) into the SEARCH ARCHIVES box & submit your query. As large as this group is, and with the number of messages that have been posted, you're right, many of your questions may have already been asked & answered. Still, please don't let that stop you from firing away, okay? I know what you mean about getting a kid away from a drum set, especially e-drums. Once they get those headphones on they're in a world of their own, aren't they? I drove my parents (& the next door neighbors) nuts practicing when I first started 40+ years ago. No headphones & e-drums back then. LOL! I can't answer your other questions. I don't have a DTXpress set-up (I practice on my Roland V-Drums), but these guys are kind enough to let me hang out with them despite that. :o) Someone will answer your questions for you though. Just check back in a couple times a day. Zilla
