Well, the big resistance as I see it is: 1) some people want to use Email to read the list exclusively. 2) the 700+/- users in the groups details has an impact on both people who would join and our standing w/Yamaha The first thing can be solved with a technology fix, the second one would be much harder since we know from experience that the 700 or so users who have joined will not pipe up and jump to the new place quickly and easily. Also, the idea of having some of us over there and some here isn't such a great hing as it "splits" the group and reduces our clout while making follwing discussions that much more difficult.
