I knew I could count on responses from you all, thank you so much for taking the time to help me out. Sorry it took a day to respond to your responses, but family was in town, and I want to see my brothers family before they grow up to be too old to be loved on. Anyways...I'm definitely going the route of adding more pads and parts to my rack, and I've really gotten to like the DTX2. Purchasing another kit is pricey, but more pads, rack parts, and another brain seems to be gotten through another whole kit. I think a mixer would be a good purchase for the linkage, now that mixers can be gotten for a fairly cheap price. However, if I decide to just connect the two brains together via MIDI, I hope it isn't too complex. After spending most of my day in a garage/classroom taking on a new career direction, my head swims with tons of information and using a can-opener even seems to be too difficult of a task. :) If anyone else cares to chime in with their ideas, I'd love to hear them. Thanks again, all. Until we meet up again...
