Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

First off, I had to perform a factory reset yesterday so I lost all 
of my kits.  I didn't have the option of downloading my kits via 
DTXchange or Dumpster.  I noticed in the "file" section that there 
was a zip for Alesis .sysex.  I friend of mine has a Alesis D5 which 
has some great hi-hat samples.  Can I upload some of those sounds in 
to the DTXpressII? 

Also, has anyone used the DTXreme brain?  I am considering 
purchasing a used one if I can find one.
