Here's how I use my BP80:
It's mounted directly over my Hi-Hat. I mainly use two basic kits, 
with variations. The variations are where the bar pad fits in. Kit 
one takes up Sets 50 -59; Kit two takes up sets 60 - 69. For kits 50 
and 60, the bar pad sounds are a cowbell and a china cymbal. For kits 
51 and 61, I have a rim click and chimes programmed. For 52 and 62, 
it's a handclap and a splash cymbal. For 53 - 63, I use a Guiro and a 
Vibra-slap. Etc, etc.
I'm tinkering with using the Dec/Inc mode of the module and using the 
bar pad as a switch to move around between sets for a couple of 
different songs my band does. Haven't tried programming that yet.
