Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hey Brett,

If what you saw is the DTExtreme Module with a ten-piece pad set 
including six dual-trigger drum pads, two dual-trigger cymbal 
controllers, bass drum controller pad (pedal not included), and hi-
hat pedal control, plus the full rack system for mounting everything 
for the same price as the DTXPII, then it seems like a very good 
deal. The module is Yamaha's recently discontinued top of the line. 
The rubber pads are physically the same as those on the II, except 
that the DS10's snare is 2 sounds rather than 3 and it has an 
additional floor tom. The kick pad and hi hat are probably the KP80 
and HH80, which are, in certain respects, better than those that 
come with the II. I'm not sure that the DTXtreme module can handle 3 
sounds per rubber pad, but if not, you'll be getting a lot to 
compensate. It has a better sequencer, better stacking capabilities, 
more user-friendly controls, etc. If you upgrade to mesh head pads 
somewhere down the line, it'll even give you positional sensing. If
