Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Crap crap crap!!  Here I am playing along with my favorite cds, the 
music cranked up, and I'm banging away on my drums, life is 
good...then all of a sudden while I'm playing my dual zone ride 
cymbal, the PCY65S, it starts messing up!  When I hit the pad 
surface for the ride cymbal, sometimes it gives me the crash sound I 
have programmed for the edge of the cymbal.  And when I hit the edge 
of the cymbal it always gives me this wierd muted choked cymbal 
sound, like I'm choking the crash.  I already turned off the module 
and reinserted the jacks to both the module and cymbal and still its 
acting funny!  I do bang on the thing pretty hard and I guess its 
not as stable as banging on a tom pad but I'm not sure if I messed 
it up!  I have a one year warranty with the store i bought it from 
and they'll fix me up in the store, but this really sucks! :(  I 
never needed you guys more than now!  So please help!  Thank you!!
