Hi there Lockhart69t, That may work - I ended up getting a nice mixer from eBay for about the same money, which worked better for me, as I have two modules. Of course, the mixer also has a headphone out jack, so I'm all set. I think that no matter how you amplify the signal, you (most likely) need to take the feed from the main outputs, not from the headphone jack on the DTXpress. If you used the headphone output, I think your amplifier would just raise the volume of the s----y sound.
