Sorry for the slow reply - I have been away.

You can perform a couple of functions using the pads - changing kits
and starting and stopping songs.  I don't think you can specifically
start the click, although it may be possible to create your own song
with nothing in it, then assign a pad to the song with the click
enabled (see page 21 of the reference manual).

If I get chance later today I will give it a try.
