Back to where it all began.

Greetings, fellow drummers. Been a while since I'v last posted, so I
thought I would give a shout out to everyone, old and new. Last time
I posted I was getting ready to move, and was selling my beloved kit.
Although it saddened me to see her go, I was ready to move on. The
wife and I made it to Baltimore (Creighton, I'll be in touch), and
over time I finally was able to put together a new kit. I was going
to purchase a DTXtreme2 as a replacement, but decided to put that one
on hold until later on, and went with a Roland TD-8 module, Pintech
Concercast pads, some Zenbals for a couple crashes, a ride, and a
hi-hat. And a snare drum with a mesh head and a ddrum red shot
trigger. So far, I must say I like it alot. Handles well and sounds
great. Even though I have strayed away from Yamaha for the time
being, I haven't left them behind entirely. I still plan on getting a
DTXtreme2 to intigrate into my kit, and will always have a soft spot
for my Yammies. I'll still be lurking in the background, reading
every post, learning all that I can, and keeping up with those Jones'.
Hope all is well with everyone on board, and will be looking onward
to our next update. Until then, keep on keeping on.

Brett

P.S. - I couldn't resist. Pics of my new kit have been posted in the
Archives.
