If it doesn't go above upper bass or lower midrange, your e-kit won't be getting its due. Of course, none of this will mean a lick if the cabinets can't reproduce anything but bass frequencies. If you take the higher frequencies out, you'll lose a lot of the kit's life, even if you don't particularly care for the cymbal sounds. You'll also lose transients from the snare. Ed
