You attach the pedal to the Stealth pad just like you would to the Y-pad. Only difference is that you use a reversed beater, so that when you push down on the pedal, the beater goes down to it, instead of from your leg to a regular bass drum like it does with the Y-pad. And because of it's compact size, I never remove the pedal from the pad to put it into my goodie box, like I had to with the Y-pad. Just plug it in and go. The "pad" that the beater hits is very soft.... reminds me of the stuff that those "stress reliever" things are made of that you squeeze in your hands (if you know what I'm talking about).
