Visu-Lite. The cymbal you have sounds like it was built before this
using a piezo/piezo setup(one for the bell, one for the bow). I
don't think that will work with choke on a roland or yamaha module
simply because the trigger setup on those modules is piezo/membrane,
meaning the bow is a piezo trigger, and the bell(or edge) is a
membrane switch (on/off). My ride was made with a membrane bell
instead of a piezo bell, that is how the new ones are made by
default, those will work with a Roland or Yamaha module and will have
the choke ability on the bell.

Yes, you've hit the nail on the head. I didn't know that Pintech had
begun to tamper with the Visu-lite design. Just for curiosity's sake,
did you buy the cymbals within the last month or so? Before Brian
left Pintech a few months ago, he gave me a pretty complete picture
of what kinds of changes were in store for the cymbals, but, at the
time, only the Zenbals and TCs seemed to be implicated. At any rate,
thanks for the valuable info. I haven't seen it listed on the old
Visu-lite site.
