Can anyone who has traded up from a DTXpress I to a DTXpress II or III give me some feedback on the TP65S or TP100 pads? I'm using the TP80S (dual-zone) pad that came with my existing DTX I as my snare, and when I strike the edge of the pad to get a rimshot, it's never as loud or as responsive as the pad surface. Are the new three-zone pads an improvement?
