Hi Chris,

I'm answering this one pretty much because I have to do some work on 
my computer today, and I welcome any distraction. I don't use Cubase, 
so I can't get to nuts and bolts. But I agree with your guess: Record 
each pad to a separate MIDI track on the sequencer. You can change 
the pad assignments in the voice edit menu. Try that. As far as 
saving the result is concerned, why not save it as a song on the 
DTXpress sequencer? Check the song section in the manual.
