SEIKO M1632 LCD module

SEIKO M1632 LCD module

2008-01-09 by Julian

Theres a californian seller on ebay who sells the SEIKO M1632 LCD module at $19.99 if bought in 10-off quantities, which, although
not saving money, would simplify build.

See item number 7605877099

Anyone interested in a group buy?

(not that, unfortunatly, im the best person to organise it, being in europe...)

Julian

The Seiko version is the **WRONG** pinout for the new A00 version PCBs. You
will have to modify the PCB, or will burn out the LCD and parts on the
board. I do not recommend it unless you have the old PCBs. Use the Lumex
LCD for A00, it is only $13.36 last time I checked, from either Mouser or
Digi-Key.

Oops, I noticed the online BOM is out of date. I will update it, showing
parts for both version X00 (unlabeled) and version A00 (labeled, new LCD
Support PCBs).
