MAKE Controller Kit

MAKE Controller Kit

2006-12-15 by John Mahoney

Not to detract from the CVS-1 (to coin a term), but is anyone else
intrigued by the possibility of using the MAKE Controller in a synth?

Wouldn't be as simple to program as a PSIM or CVS-1, but it seems to
have some serious power and a lot of development interest/action.
Just curious, as there's no way I can jump into that for the
foreseeable future!

I don't see the advantage of this board over any other generic
microcontroller board. There are dozens, perhaps hundreds, of kits or
protoboards for everything from 8 bit to 32 bit RISC development boards.
You'll have to write your code in assembly or C though.

This one seems a bit overspecified for synth use, as you're not likely to
use ethernet or CANbus interfaces.
