Brice Hornback is an irresponsible ass....

Re: [ComputerVoltageSources] Brice Hornback is an irresponsible ass....

At this point I've given up any hope of ever receiving my PSIM1
module. It's a pity, it looked like it was going to be a cool little
unit, but I guess I can't really do anything other than be
philosophical about it - I could have laid out a thousand dollars or
something, with similar hopes (0) of ever receiving anything at this
point.

That said, I have another outstanding order from another manufacturer
in the US, which is coming up to 2 years, with similar lack of
communication (to me, at least), I'm pretty close to giving up hope
with that one now, and if you add it all up, it comes to about a grand
altogether.

I guess it's galling for a couple of reasons -
1)It does tend to make one a bit wary of trying out anyone new in
future, which isn't fair on the new guy.
2)I could have sent money to john, bruce paul, grant, cynthia or tony
- all ppl who either deliver quickly, or if they take longer to
deliver, at least fucking reply to your email enquiries, wtf.

For over 3 years now I have been told that I am number 2 on the list of
completed modules.
Now I'm starting to feel like number 2. This is insane.

I read the psim list for interest value (i meen in the module, not the ongoing saga) and i have no buisiness with brice personally, so its not really my place to say, but...

Here in england, if someone clearly defaults on a contract in that way, and you know how / where they are etc.etc. then its a pretty simple process to retrieve your cash. The person at fault has to pay all the fees etc.etc. and you get your money back. I think it takes a couple of months or so, but its all fairly automated. A friend recently (like within the past 4 months) retrieved the cash for a faulty second hand washing machine (from a dealer and it really didnt seem that difficult...

I dont understand why those of you in america dont just retrieve your money back off brice, using the legal system that, i assume, is availible? I do understand that its probably harder internationally.

I suspect the end results of the work going on here will be superior to the existing psim anyway, so i dont see what there is to loose?
Except, maybee the chance of doing buisiness with the man in the future ; ) and the continued stress...

(who's real slow himself, but never takes any moeny off anyone untill the item is packed, addressed, and reddy to ship...)

Re: Brice Hornback is an irresponsible ass....

my psim miraculously arrived about a month after i gave brice a
deadline. i told him i wanted my psim or my money back within a month,
or i would take unspecified "further action". maybe it will work for
you too? mine took two years and one month to come.

so it worked, but the psim of course arrived without mounting screws
or a power lead...
