unipolar? bipolar?

unipolar? bipolar?

2006-03-10 by john mahoney

Speaking of input and outputs:

We're dealing with unipolar signals, correct? 0 to ~10 volts.

John Lofflink had made a suggestion regarding an output level shifter using
half of Vref.

I suppose that the same offset could be applied to inputs in order to accept
bipolar signals. True? Useful?

(Apologies if I missed this in a previous message. No time to check, I've
gotta get out the door!)

I use my level shifters all the time as I feed LFOs to the inputs.
Same with many of the outputs. I built a 4 and 4 set of shifters for
input and output.
