I don't think the requirements for Studio are too much. I have it on an XP machine. I used to have IDE on a Win98 machine. I was planning on taking that to the Portland meeting. Guess I'll have to pull it out and see if Studio loads on it. I think it probably will. No the changes aren't too bad. However, if you start from IDE-17 to Studio-2, there is a constant stream of changes. None are bad, unless you have 62 programs that all need to be modified! Some of the fixes are quite nice, though. The #include will now allow me to minimize the changes going forward by keeping a common support code base. Of course the latest changes affect serial which I use for the LCD and MIDI. The other changes were I2C which affected my SpeakJet and CVS, so there aren't very many that really affect the PSIM.
