I started stuffing and soldering the first of three CVS's I am making at Wiard. I noticed no one had made color coded stuffing diagrams for the board, so I made some. The color coding allows even illiterate people to stuff boards and is used everyplace I have been that does big production. You just use some highliter pens and a sharpie maker. Mark out every reference designator NOT applicable to this step, and highlite the ones to be stuffed. The idea is to reduce visual confusion by eliminating extraneous visual data, like all the other reference designator not being stuffed during this step. It took me about 90 minutes to mark up the documentation and about 45 minutes to stuff and solder the board.
