I finished my External Controls module that I interface to the CVS
External IO connector and operate through I2C. I put a schematic in
the Files>Hardware folder and a photo in my Photos>Dave Brown folder.
The circuit only took 1 IC and a handful of resistors.
It's quite nice for user input. It has a 12 key Velleman keypad and a
single potentiometer for entering various parameters in programs. I
use it in my SuperSequencer program to enter the number of sequencer
steps, MIDI GM program patch (e.g. Acoustic Piano ... Gunshot), and a
MIDI offset to add to each note.
