This notion crossed my mind and i dared not speak it out loud for fear
that my already tawdry reputation as a club-footed DIY barbarian would
become even more intractable!!!
i'm still too nervous to do it though, if that Dremel bit seizes
something tough and hurls itself off-target there's just too much in
the way of delicate innards in the neighborhood for it to land on.
neighboring components though....
the loss of modularity is the biggest issue to me ... i might have the
brass to do this operation once but the prospect of doing it over and
over in the future really turns me off.
With all due empathy for Maestro Chang's situation, it's academic to
me anyway. i don't expect i'll ever have more than one PSIM in my rig.
And my prospects for soundtrack work sync'd to video are still very bleak.
